i don’t know your story or how you came to be where you are today, but i grew up listening to your lyrics and started listening to the people i used to listen to years ago (BK, before kids). loved you and your uncle and all sounds keaggy! i do know that i felt a hurt in my heart for you when i discovered you have been through a divorce. that is a pain i have not experienced and perhaps have no room to comment. however, we share a love for the One who truly Saves. i see your updates via facebook and occasionally check out your blog. all i can say is how humbling. forgive me for any judgement i may have had in my heart and to God be the Glory for your honest, chin up, one step at a time approach to moving closer to Him as you journey through this. please know God is still using you and whatever it is that He has laid on your heart seems to be incredible, pouring out of you like a pitcher of fresh lemonade. you still have an amazing way with words, expressing your joys, pain, truths and humor with what appears to be such ease! not to mention thought provoking and so enjoyable to read. thank you for sharing your heart so honestly at times, something that I’m sure can be both therapeutic and painful at the same time. blessings.

Thanks for loving and sharing A Friend in the Storm. And what a great time, near Valentine’s Day.

So many are so lonely. They need to know Jesus wants to be their Valentine. He doesn’t stand over them judging… He reaches out to them, loving.

None of us have it together. We hurt in different ways; but He is there for each one of us.
